Continuing the series on hormones that we began here with the ‘male’ and ‘female’ hormones such as estrogen and testosterone, we’ll delve into the crucial role the adrenals play in our endocrine system.

Adrenal glands, located on the kidneys, secrete adrenal hormones such as cortisol, DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone), and epinephrine/ norepinephrine (AKA adrenaline). The adrenal hormones serve a crucial function in helping the body respond to stress in a healthy way.
