Upright Row

Cable Machine Upright Row

The upright row is a classic shoulder builder exercise many in the gym do, but one that won’t yield positive results. The problem here is that it places great strain on the shoulder joint, and will set you up for injury.

To work the lateral head – the same head you’d hit doing the upright row; simply do a shoulder press and a lateral raise if you prefer.
