Don't forget to refuelIf you’re the sort of person who loves making a day of the gym, going for 3+ hours at a time, make sure you refuel during your workout! It can seem counterintuitive if your goal is to burn fat, but when you exercise too long without resupplying carbohydrates, you dramatically increase cortisol, which will fight your weight loss after you leave the gym. Consuming carbs during a long workout won’t significantly decrease fat burning, but it will prevent large increases in cortisol.
