10. Static Back: The Single MOST IMPORTANT Exercise, Helps You Walk Properly, Sets Stage For Back Pain Elimination.
Lie on your back with your legs up over a block or a chair.
Place your arms out to your sides about forty-five degrees away from your body with your palms facing up.
Relax your upper back, and notice if your lower back flattens to the floor evenly from left to right. Hold for five minutes. It should FEEL GREAT. If there is only one Egoscue Stretch you do every day, do this one. I do this every single day and have my kids and family do it.
This doesn’t cost anything, takes zero effort, yet has tremendous
value. This simple exercise helps return your body, gradually, to
a state of much better alignment.
When we are out of alignment, we tend to avoid things. As we get
back into alignment, you fear goes away and this creates ACTION.
