Constant stress, whether as a result of internal life perceptions, or external factors such as job stress or health issues, can cause adrenal exhaustion. If lifestyle changes aren’t made, adrenals lose the ability to produce DHEA, causing cortisol and epinephrine levels to fluctuate.
